Nancy McGlasson's husband served as a private in the U.S. Revolutionary War. According to her application for a military widow's pension, the couple married in Virginia and soon after moved to Covington (Ky.). Her husband was granted a pension due to disability in January 8, 1830, and he died on October 13, 1832. The application mentions that she never remarried and remained in Campbell County (Ky.) until she moved to Kenton County (Ky.) in 1844.
