Title
Dollins, John
Gender

Biography
William Dollin's tax record indicates that an enslaved man born between 1837-1839 was born. It is unclear how John came to Missouri.
There are two William Dollins' in Boone County, Ky in the 1830 census. They may have been father and son, though the exact relationship is unknown. Either could have been John's enslaver. However, the elder William [1] did not hold enslaved people in either the 1830 or 1850 census. The younger William [2] held ten enslaved people in the 1830 census, and six in the 1840 census. This makes him a more likely candidate to be John's enslaver.
