Biography
Madison Young resided in a property owned by James and Nancy Ross. He appears in the 1850 Kenton County (Ky.) census which lists him as a labourer. His will was filed with the Boone County Courts and his slave holdings were bequeathed to his landlords upon his death, and he specifies that he desires that three of his slaves be set free upon his death but continue to serve his landlords for the duration of their lives. He appears to not have married or had children, and references Fountain Young and Barret (William) Young as his brothers.
