The associated enslaved man Abrahm [5] died as a Free Person Of Color in Boone County (Ky.), but the death record lists a slaveholder on record as Benjamin Yager (1768-1857). He is the brother of Elijah Yager (1769-1844) who lived in Boone County (Ky.). Benjamin did not live in Boone County, he lived in Jefferson County (Ky.). According to family records at Boone County Public Library, the family smuggled freedom seekers northbound.
