Biography: Alexander McDaniel was born around 1760. He appears in Boone County, Kentucky tax list in 1800. Alexander is again shown in Boone County in the 1810 Federal Census. In 1820 Alexander was known to have six enslaved in Boone County, Kentucky. The 1830 Boone County, Kentucky census shows Alexander with thirteen known enslaved. The 1840 Boone County, Kentucky census shows Alexander with 15 known enslaved. In his will he mentions his wife by the name of Nancy.
