Chichester Matthews appeard in the 1800 Boone County, Ky. tax list. In the 1810 Boone County, Kentucky census Chichester was known to have one enslaved. Pastor of Sand Run Baptist Church from 1819-1828. The 1820 Boone County, Kentucky census shows Chichester Matthews with five known enslaved.
