Biography
In the 1863 will of Erastus Tousey he gives his widow, Catherine "full power to set free my slaves, four in number; vis: Lydia, Martha, Jefferson and Tommy." Jefferson was listed as a member of the Burlington Baptist Church, by experience, in September 1843.
