Escaped to Canada, was seemingly involved in a money-making scam. Through correspondance, he approached John Barton, of Florence, KY, Pretending to want to come home to enslavement, if Barton will send him the fare. In letter, mentions of Eliza Harris and Lloyd Graves, as well as (unknown) Delaney.
