-
Constructed in the late 19th century, the small scale and simple finish of this building suggest it was used as a tenant house. It is a diminutive frame dwelling of very simple design, built on the two-room plan with integral lean-to. It stands one-and-a-half-stories high under a "saltbox" roof of raised-seam metal. The interior walls are covered with wood plank siding, and a narrow, steep, enclosed stair leads to the second story. Near the house are a barn, corncrib and privy.
-
Cloud, a native of Virginia, was a prosperous farmer who owned considerable property in the Taylorsport Precinct.
