Weisickle House (Petersburg, Ky.)
Description
Floor Plan: Bungalow, Side Gabled
This historic home was built on Petersburg's Front Street about 1915. It was originally built for the Weisickle family, but was later sold to Robert Christy, proprietor of an adjacent coal dock.
Little altered since its construction, this dormer front bungalow exhibits a prominent roof dormer and an engaged, full-facade porch with tapered posts on brick pedestals. Like its neighbors on Front Street, it enjoys an expansive river view.
