The Central House Hotel was built in stages beginning circa 1840. It also operated as a tavern for much of the 19th Century and later housed Clutterback's General Store. It later became a true department store, before reverting to a hardware store. The building was converted into a restaurant in 2003, and has been home to several eateries.
