Description
Death of an eight year old enslaved girl held by Paschal Rucker. She was departing Aurora for St. Louis, by train with slaveholders, she fell between cars when the train was moving and was nearly decapitated. The gender listed on the death record from September 30, 1859 incorrectly listed Louisa as a male.
