Description
Devon was a quiet little community along the Dixie Highway (US 25) between Florence and Richwood.
Devon is best known for the tragic event of August 1943, when two members of the Kiger Family, including Covington politician Carl Kiger, were shot dead in their beds at the Rosegate Farm (also known as the Marion Grubbs House). The house, as well as many other homes of the area, has been demolished.
