In 1900 she and her mother Nancy are both listed as a "servant" in the home of John and Susie Garrison of Union, Kentucky. In 1910 both she and Nancy are listed as servants in the home of J. Lynn and Rannie D. Frazier. J. Lynn was the son of Nancy's former slaveholder, Joel B. Frazier.
In 1920, she is listed as the cook in the home of James L. Frazier, and has two children. In 1930, she and both her children are listed as servants.
In 1940, she is living with her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Albert Anderson, in Elsmere, Kentucky.
