White, Martha Jane
Martha Jane White gave a 1865 affidavit for the pension application of Mary Riddell Price, the widow of Uriah Price. She was invited to the 1850 marriage of Uriah and Mary at the home of Margaret Rice, slaveholder to Mary, but was ill. Mrs. White's affidavit also named the children of Uriah and Mary as well as the officiant of their marriage, Joseph Black. She was the wife of Robert White.

Riddell, Alice
Alice Riddell gave a 1867 affidavit for the pension application of Mary Riddell Price, the widow of Uriah Price, on behalf of her daughter, Martha Jane Price. Both Louisa Riddell and Alice Riddell testified regarding the character of Mary and Martha, and that they were present at the birth of Martha, and knew Uriah to be the father. She lived in Cincinnati in 1867, and had known Mary Riddell Price for 16 years (ca 1851.)

Mary Riddell was the widow of Uriah Price and mother of Araminta E Price, James A. Price and Martha Jane Price. Her husband died in the U.S. Civil War. Mary applied for a pension to support herself and her only living child (in 1865), Martha Jane. Affidavits were given on her behalf to confirm her marriage to Uriah Price in the evening of March 1st, 1850 at the Burlington home of her slaveholder, Margaret Rice.
