Biography

Juno escaped around August of 1805. The report states that a "girl of 15 years ran from Richard Dicken" of Boone County. She was described as having a "yellow complexion and a smiling countenance" and it also state that she been seen in Cincinnati and Columbia. $8 was offerred in reward for her return. Dicken's tax lists in 1805-1806 indicate the loss of one enslaved person under the age of 16.
