Biography: In the will of Benjmain Mitchell, which was certified on February 24, 1857- George was to be sold and the resulting money was to be loaned out at interest for the benefit of the slaveholder's daughters; Benjamin Mitchell was from and died in Boone County (Ky.), but resided in Saline, Missouri. Children were in Boone County with guardian R. Botts. It is not clear if enslaved people were sold in Boone County or in Missouri.
