Whitefield Early was known to have eleven enslaved in the 1810 Boone County, Kentucky census. In 1820 Whitfield Earley is in Burlington, Boone, Kentucky with six known enslaved. The 1830 Boone, Kentucky census lists Whitfield with five known enslaved. Whitfield is known to have nine enslaved in the 1840 census. The 1850 census lists Whitfield Early and wife Jane living in Burlington, Boone, Kentucky. He states he was born about 1777 in Virginia and is a farmer. The last census that Whitfield appears in is the 1860 Burlington, Boone, Kentucky one. He is listed with his wife and his age is 83 years old. Whitfield Early died 5 Aug 1865 and is buried in Petersburg Cemetery.
