Wilson Harper was born in Virginia May 16, 1807. The 1840 Boone, Kentucky census shows Wilson with one known enslaved. Wilson Harper and wife Agnes appear in the 1850 census in District 2, Boone, Kentucky. In 1860 Wilson is living in Taylor Port, Boone, Kentucky. His occupation is listed as farmer. The 1870 census shows Wilson and Agnes living in Taylorsport, Boone, Kentucky with their daughter Nancy. Wilson Harper died October 3, 1881 and is buried in Florence Cemetery.
