Situated on Verona-Mud Lick Road, the Powers House was built in the early 20th century for the Powers family, Irish immigrants who came to Verona in the mid-19th century. One of the most imposing houses in Verona, it is a classic American Foursquare with hipped roof and gabled dormers. Nearby stands a pyramidal-roof Craftsman garage.
