Description: Floor Plan: Square Plan; This was the home of W.W. Smith, a “boss cooper” at the Boone County Distilling Company in Petersburg, who came to Boone County from Onandaga County, New York, in 1825.; Constructed around 1850, it is an outstanding vernacular interpretation of the Greek Revival style. The main door is framed by engaged pilasters; narrow, multi-light transom and sidelights complete the ensemble. The windows retain 6/6 sash.
