Description
Three people, a man, woman and child, escaped from slaveholder John B. Floyd of Trimble County.
Adaline Floyd would have been approximately 25 years old at the time of this escape. Ephraim would have been a year old. According to the 1850 census records, John Floyd may have held two different men at the time--one 25 and the other 27--either of whom could have been the third participant.
