Description: Three people, a man, woman and child, escaped from slaveholder John B. Floyd of Trimble County.; Adaline Floyd would have been approximately 25 years old at the time of this escape. Ephraim would have been a year old. According to the 1850 census records, John Floyd may have held two different men at the time--one 25 and the other 27--either of whom could have been the third participant.
