- 1833 Will of Elizabeth Piner, (widow of Thomas Piner) leaves "man slave" Reuben to sister-in-law, also named Elizabeth Piner (sister of Thomas Piner). Her wish is that Reuben be manumitted. 1850 Slave Schedule shows Elizabeth Piner held one male, age 40.
