Raised by her Aunt Julia, Sally attended Miss Porter’s school in Connecticut and in 1891 she married Frank Cutcheon. The childless couple had homes in Santa Barbara and Long Island and then inherited the Boone County farm when Julia Dinsmore died in 1926. " --Cathy Callopy
