His will was transcribed into Boone Will Book A as his son and heir, Benjamin Lewis Corbin (1765-circa 1852) lived in Boone and inherited 3 enslaved persons. The rest of the family appear to have remained in Virginia. This was William's son. He is listed as William Corbin in military records and in the will, along with his wife Frances, however he also alternately appears as John in various records.

His will was transcibed into Boone Will Book A as his son and heir, Benjamin Lewis Corbin (1765-ca.1852) lived in Boone and inherited 3 enslaved persons. The rest of the family appear to have remained in Virginia. This was William's grand daughter, the daughter of William John Corbin (1747-1785). Together with her husband, they appear in the 1810, 1820, 1830 and 140 Culpeper County (Va.) censuses enslaving 18, 47, 60 and 11 persons, respectively.

Joshua Stockton lived in Flemingsburg, Ky. In the 1810 Fleming County (Ky.) census he held 14 enslaved. In the 1820 census he held 2 enslaved, and in 1830 he held 10 enslaved. He died in 1836.

The associated enslaved man Abrahm [5] died as a Free Person Of Color in Boone County (Ky.), but the death record lists a slaveholder on record as Benjamin Yager (1768-1857). He is the brother of Elijah Yager (1769-1844) who lived in Boone County (Ky.). Benjamin did not live in Boone County, he lived in Jefferson County (Ky.). According to family records at Boone County Public Library, the family smuggled freedom seekers northbound.

In 1830 Erastus Bainbridge is living in Owen County, Kentucky with seven known enslaved. Erastus Bainbridge was known to have thirteen enslaved in the 1840 Owen County, Kentucky census. The 1850 Owen County, Kentucky census shows Erastus Bainbridge as a farmer.
