1830--Milly Excluded Due to an Accusation of Adultery
Milly a "Black woman" was received by experience as a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church on February 13, 1818. Larkin Ryle accused Milly of adultery in February 1830 and was excluded in March 1830. "Mily" enslaved by Ben Stephens, is listed as a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church, no date was given. Milly is the likely mother of Nancy and Jane (Stephens White). In the 1852 Will of Benjamin Stephens, she was alloted to his widow. In 1870, Milly lived in Rising Sun, and was married to Daniel Parsons. She died there in 1878.

1826--Ally Accused of Fornication
Church records from May 1826 note that Ally is accused of "fornication" by John Ryle. She did not attend the June meeting and was excluded.

1822--Keziah Brockman Excluded for Integrating and Adultery
Received as a member of Sand Run Baptist on March 20, 1819. She was excluded on February 16, 1822. The following was reported: Kizza and Fanny refused to sit in assigned seating for "black members and friends" and she was "also accused of 'fornication and marrying a man with a wife, and living in adultery with him" referring to Adam (Brockman) who she later married. She was the mother of Rachel (Brockman) Bishop and became free before 1850, as was Adam Brockman.

1820--Amy Accused of Adultery
November 1820, John Ryle complains that his bondswoman, Amy is guilty of adultery. Amy is excluded in December.

1803--Anthony Excluded for Accusations of Theft, Lying and Fathering an Interracial Child
A complaint was brought against Anthony by Brother Hawkins for "having taken that which was not his own" and for having "departed from the truth." He was found guilty and suspended, October 1803. He was excluded on November 12, 1803, and restored on August 10, 1811. On July 10 1813, Brother Watts complained against Anthony for having a child by a white woman. Then on August 11, 1813, Anthony is found guilty and excluded.

1834--John Accused of Stealing Tobacco
Received as a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church on April 1834, in May it was determined that John was not to be baptized. By July, John was accused by Larkin Ryle of stealing tobacco. He was no longer considered for baptism.

1825--Fillis Accused of Theft and Excluded
Received as member of Sand Run Baptist Church on March 20, 1819. She was accused of stealing food and excluded on June 25, 1825.

1819--Tony Accused of Stealing a Knife and Lying
On August 1819, Harry (bondsman of Ryle as well) complained of Tony stealing a knife and lying. Tony was excluded in September, 1819

1819--Jesse Excluded for Escaping and Theft
On October 2, 1819, Jesse, an enslaved member of Bullittsburg Baptist Church had "absconded" from slaveholder Ben Johnson, some time prior to the meeting, and the church had not been made aware he was gone. He also was accused of "purloining" and excluded from membership.

Silvey, an enslaved member of Bullittsburg Baptist Church, is excluded from membership for "absconding from" her slaveholder, Benjamin Watts.

1826--Unamed Woman Excluded for Her Escape
In August 1826, Bill and an unnamed woman, both enslaved by "Bro. Terrill" (probably John Terrill) both successfully self-emancipate. Bill is a member of Bullittsburg Baptist Church and is excluded for "absconding" and for having left his wife for another woman (with whom he escaped).

Received by baptism into the Sand Run Baptist Church on June 27, 1824 and was later excluded. He was listed in the July 1825 inventory as "boy."

1829--Anthony Excluded for His Escape
Anthony, an enslaved member of the Bullittsburg Baptist Church, was excluded from membership for "absconding from" the church, sometime prior to the 1829 meeting. Slaveholder W. Moore's 1825 will stated that Anthony would be freed in two years' time, dependent on debts being settled. It is unclear if he was free when he "absconded."

On March 18, 1820, Mr. Graves’ Julia “absconded from her master,” was absent for a considerable time and there was “no certainty when she would be with us again.” She was found guilty of sin and excluded.

1818--Aaron Excluded Due to an Accusation of Theft
On August 8, 1818, Reuben Graves complained against "Aaron his slave boy, stealing [a] neck handkerchief." Aaron was found guilty and excluded.

1827--Isaac Excluded from Sand Run Baptist Church
Received by baptism into the Sand Run Baptist Church in 1824. He was excluded in July 1827. This is another Isaac held by Walter Goodridge.

1826--Isaac Excluded for Breaking an Entry and Brawling
Excluded as a member of Sand Run, complaints on December 22, 1826 included: breaking into a house, drunkenness and engaging in an "affray" with a white man.

1829--Kezia Excluded for Her Escape
Kezia, an enslaved member of Bullittsburg Baptist Church, is excluded from membership for "absconding from" her slaveholder, George Gaines, sometime prior to the 1829 meeting.

1833--Merrit Excluded for His Escape
During a May 1833 meeting at the Bullittsburg Baptist Church, a complaint was made against Merrit stating that a "black member of this church belonging to Brother George Gaines for having absconded and left this church and this Master without leave, the matter is taken up and considered and he found guilty of Sin and Excluded.
