Biography: The August 10, 1826 inventory lists Ben as "boy." Ben was also named in the 1851 inventory of Absalom Graves' estate upon the death of his widow. Ben was listed "of no value" at age 50. Per sale of estate, Thomas Graves agrees to take Ben in as he was in poor health.; Ben was bequeathed to Felicia (White) Graves (wife of Absalom Graves) by her father, John White, Sr. who died in Orange County, VA in 1816. The appraisal which followed listed Ben with an appraisal value of $550
