Isham G Hamilton was born in Virginia about 1792. He was known to have 10 enslaved in the 1820 Burlington, Boone County, Kentucky census. He is shown in the 1850 census living in Burlington, Boone, Kentucky. His occupation is Clerk of County Court. He was living with wife Nancy Hamilton. In 1860 Isham is again in Burlington, Boone, Kentucky with wife Nancy. The 1870 census shows Isham and wife Nancy living in Burlington, Boone, Kentucky. Isham died May 21, 1873 and is buried in Old Burlington Cemetery.
