Biography

George Towsey claimed to have been born in Boone County, and was "traded" several times within the county. He was possibly held by the Tousey family and claimed to have been owned by Joseph Wilson, the father of President Woodrow Wilson. He ultimately settled in Oxford and Hamilton, Ohio.
