NOTE: Will of Arthur Parker, brother of Richard Parker, 1839 inventory value $400. Will states Washington is to be hired out until he "makes what he cost me" then to be freed, unless Henry Parker (Arthur's brother) from whom he was purchased, wants him back on the same terms of emancipation. One year hire in Greenup County settlement of 1839- not mentioned after; freed? Likely Washington Parker, leader of the "Cincinnati 28" group of freedom seekers
