Biography

Sarah was given an appraisal value of $400 as recorded in the 1855 inventory of Willis Arnold's estate. A second mention of her was made in an 1856 guardian report. In the guardian settlement in 1857, Sarah was one of two enslaved females of the same name, alotted to Samuel P. Arnold, one was thirteen, the other 2 years old.
