- Nancy did not appear in the 1829 inventory for Benjamin G. Willis' estate. She first appeared as an "increase" to the estate (she was born to one of the existing enslaved women), when the widow's dower was set apart in 1832. She was allotted to James Willis in 1838, with an appraised value of $200.
