Description
On May 11, 1811, Three freedom seekers, Tom, Dick and George, escaped their Woodford County enslavers with the help of a white man named David Ferguson. The men rode off on four stolen horses. A $150 reward was offered for the return of the freedom seekers and the agent who helped them . The reward was offered by enslavers Jesse Moss, N. Dale and Samuel S. Berry
