Biography
In 1791 John Hume appears on the tax lists of Fayette Co. KY., with several sons and has been traced by the Kentucky tax records through Harrison Co; in 1784, to Campbell Co., where he died in 1802. Land records show he bought land in 1795 on the South Fork of the Licking River (present Pendleton Co.) and in 1799, bought 300 acres of land on Bank Lick Creek in what is now Kenton Co., KY.
