unknown, Jim [23] In August, 1863, a 20-yr-old freedom seeker named Jim or Lewis was committed to the Fayette County jail as a runaway. He named James Johnson of Knox County as his enslaver. Jim was described as about 5'6" tall and 140 lbs., with a "yellow" complexion.
